Another Israeli freighter, the Negba, will be launched in a Bremen shipyard March 20, it was announced here today. The Negba, second of a line being built by a Bremen yard for Zim Navigation Line, is a 15,000 ton cargo vessel.
Both the Negba and its sister ship, Ampal, which a few days ago set sail on its maiden voyage to the United States, will ply between American ports, Europe and Israel The ships are capable of 16 knots and are equipped with the most modern loading and navigational devices.
