Several Jewish philosophers–including the late Dr. Chaim Zhitlowsky who lived and died in the United States–are included in the new “Soviet Encyclopedia of Philosophy, ” received here today. Thus far, only two volumes of the comprehensive Soviet work have been published. Of the old Jewish philosophers mentioned in the first two volumes, are Solomon Ibn Gabirol, Abraham Ibn Ezra and Yehuda Halevi.
