New York City Council President Paul O’Dwyer has introduced a resolution condemning the French government for its release of the accused terrorist Abu Daoud. “The action of the French government in releasing a man accused of leading the terrorist raid which resulted in the murder of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich is nothing short of dangerous,” O’Dwyer said. He said Daoud’s release will encourage terrorists and frustrate anti-terrorist international law enforcement bodies.
