New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani sent city employees to the aid of a Jewish mother who had been denied assistance by the city’s social services agencies. Rose Kornitzer, called the mayor during a radio show and pleaded for help with her five children, including a set of twins and triplets, all under the age of three. The city did not say what type of help it would provide the family.
