Mr. Samuel Niger (Tcharni), the famous Yiddish literary critic and publicist, who has been living since 1919 in America, sailed this evening from Liverpool on his return to America after spending several months in Europe, especially in Eastern Europe and Germany.
He was given a farewell reception here this afternoon, among those present being Mr. Kleinman, the editor of the “Haolom”, who presided, Mr. Morris Myer, editor of the “Jewish Times”, Mr. Edward Good (“Moyshe Oyved”), Mr. Leo Kenig, Mr. William Zukerman, Mr. Koldofsky, Mrs. Mowschovitch, Mr. Kaizer and Mr. J. Leftwich.
