“Coordination” of the book publishing business in Germany to the program of the National Socialist party, has been accomplished. Henceforth, books by Jewish authors, written in Germany or abroad, will not be published in Germany. This action was decided upon at a meeting of the “Boersenverein der Deutschen Buchhandler” which includes the largest book publishing and selling firms among its members. A resolution adopted at the meeting states that “in view of the fact that German book sellers were always in the foremost ranks of the German cause, the Verein now unanimously decides to join the national front without any opposition.”
