The State Department today published the exchange of correspondence between the United States and the British governments setting forth the Anglo-American agreement on the Palestine Inquiry Commission, under which each country will pay its own members and personnel, other expenses being jointly shared by the two governments.
The members of the Anglo-American inquiry group today received the instructions under which the commission is to carry on its investigation within 120 days.
The instructions consist of the four-point “terms of reference” adopted by the American and British governments and made public on Nov. 13, when the establishment of the commission was announced simultaneously in Washington and in London.
