One Israeli border patrolman and three members of a four-man group of El Fatah infiltrators were killed in a brief but fierce encounter near the Lebanese border today. The fourth Arab infiltrator was wounded and captured.
The clash occurred when the border patrol intercepted the group of armed infiltrators, apparently crossing into Israel for intelligence-seeking purposes. The fight took place southwest of Ramat Naftali, in the upper Galilee, in northern Israel.
