)An “Action Committee” to organize aid for children and wounded adults in Israel has been set up here by the OSE World Union. The committee includes Dr. Boris Tschlenoff, president of the Swiss OSE, as well as Professors Gordonofft Minkowski, Goldmann, Reichstein and Abravamel.
The committee appealed to all physicians and pharmacists in Switzerland to donate medical supplies, surgical instruments and special foods to be sent to the Jewish state in a specially-chartered plane. A cargo consisting of two tons of medical supplies–including surgical instruments and penicillin–is already on route to Tel Aviv, the OSE announced.
