A government grant to aid Palestine students at the American College in Beirut has been decided upon, according to an announcement by the Education Department of the Palestine Government in the Arab press here.
The Education Department announced that it will extend aid to students who are proceeding to Beirut to complete their studies in the American College there during 1926-27. The amount is #amp;168;50 annually, and will be given for three years. The applicant must present a certificate of the school which he attended as well as a certificate of good behavior. Knowledge of Arabic is obligatory.
The applicant will be obliged to teach at Government schools upon completion of his studies at Beirut, for a term of five years.
