The Palestine police today raided the offices of the Arab boycott committee in Haifa and arrested all members of the committee present at the time. The raiders also seized a quantity of merchandise believed to have been stolen from Arabs who traded with Jews.
The police raid followed an intensification of the Arab boycott within recent weeks, which is believed responsible for the death of four Arabs suspected of having sold land to Jews. Among other forms of intimidation used is the planting of bombs in the stores of merchants accused of dealing in “Zionist goods.”
