A seven year struggle ended today when the Supreme Court decided to allow Rosa Ginsburg, daughter-in-law of Achad Ahaam, noted Jewish writer, to take the foreign advocate’s examination allowing her to practice in the courts. The Courts held that there was nothing in Ottoman law restricting practice to males, thus finally recognizing that woman is a person within the meaning of the law.
