Samuel Faley, for ten years representative at Ellis Island of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, died Tuesday in Mt. Vernon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jennie Barrows.
Mr. Paley, who was seventy-one years old, retired from his Ellis Island post fifteen years ago. He was ill for the past three years. Surviving him, beside his daughter, are his widow and three sons, Max, Jostph and Phillip Paley.
