Rabbis, ministers, dancers and mothers will stage a brief parade next Sunday in a double celebration of Mothers’ Day and the opening of World Peace and Good-Will Week. At the head of the procession, which will proceed from Thirty-second street and Seventh avenue to the Hotel New Yorker at Thirty-fourth street and Eighth avenue, will be Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Rev. Dr. John Haynes Holmes and Ruth St. Denis, dancer.
After the parade marchers will participate in a banquet at the New Yorker, which will be one of a series of fourteen events scheduled at the hotel during Good Will Week.
Elaborate plans are being made by representative organizations in all the participating religions to prepare colorful and dramatic floats illustrating the principles of the World Fellowship Association.
Rabbis who will speak during the week include Dr. Wise, Dr. David De Sola Pool, Dr. Louis I. Newman, Dr. Israel Goldstein, Dr. Morton M. Berman, Dr. H. Pereira Mendes, Dr. William H. Fineshriber of Philadelphia, Dr. Edward L. Israel of Baltimore and Dr. Abram Simon of Washington.
