Participation in an Orthodox youth group leads to more Jewish involvement during adulthood, according to a new study. The study of alumni of the National Council of Synagogue Youth, which is affiliated with the Orthodox Union, found that the group’s graduates, even alumni who weren’t from Orthodox homes, were more likely to marry other Jews, more likely to attend synagogue and more likely to engage in Jewish study when compared to other Jews in their age group.
