In the presence of more than 2,000 women who jammed the main ballroom of the Hotel Statler, Dr. Abraham Neumann, professor of history at Dropsie College in Philadelphia, paid a glowing tribute to the creative genius in the new Palestine as manifested by the women of Hadassah at the annual Thrift Luncheon of the Boston chapter of Hadassah yesterday afternoon.

Speaking on the new Rothschild-Hadassah-Hebrew University hospital Rabbi Neumann declared that “every stone that goes into the making of this structure of science will reflect the progressive spirit of the donors who are hewing the rough stones into a house of health and learning for Palestine.”
