A spokesman for the Polish Government today denied a report credited to the Voice of America alleging that Jews are being deported from Poland to Siberia and that Jews in Warsaw are perturbed over this development.
“The report is absolutely false,” the spokesman said. “Everyone living in Poland can testify to the fact that there is no basis to the allegation.” Leaders of central Jewish organizations in Warsaw similarly expressed their surprise at the report.
