A proposal that the forthcoming 17th Zionist Congress be held in Warsaw, the greatest Jewish metropolis in Europe, is made today by the Nash Przeglond, a local Jewish paper published in Polish. Emphasizing that Polish Jewry is most directly interested in Palestine, the paper points out that the Jews of Poland are also affected by the White Paper.

The Nash Przeglond says that holding the Congress in the United States, as has been suggested, would cost too much and would prevent many European delegates from attending because of the distance.
