Rep. Emanuel predicted tonight that Congress would approve the entrance of an additional 50,000 refugees above present quota limitations, if President Truman should request such legislation. He said that this “mere trickle” of immigrants would not injure our economy, but would contribute talents and skills to developing our commerce and industry.
