Premier Barend Biesheuvel has announced the creation of a national centralized command to prevent terrorism. The command will be coordinated by the Dutch Minister of Justice in conjunction with the Interior and Defense Ministries. The decision follows attacks against Dutch oil refineries, airline hijackings, and terrorist letter bombs mailed from Amsterdam.
