A Palestine Congress for Progressive Judaism opened here today with many well-known rabbis, mostly from Germany, in attendance. Among those who addressed the meeting were Prof. Martin Buber, famous German Jewish philosopher, Rabbi Weiler of South Africa and Rabbi Zigler of Karlsbad. Speakers dwelt on religious and educational problems and demanded that the organization be given a legal status in the Palestine Jewish Community.
