William Dudley Pelley, occult communicant with the supernatural and leader of the Silver Shirts, went into communication with government authorities today on a more pressing matter than the moral and political destiny of the world.
The leader of the anti-Semitic and anti-administration organization was called to account for the bankruptcy of his business by George Craig, who is serving as referee. Pelley has been examined frequently since his return to Asheville to determine whether the Silver Legion and the Foundation for Christian Economics should be brought under a receiver as in the case of the Galahad Press, all of Pelley interests.
A decision is expected Saturday when hearings will be resumed.
