Failure of Jewish parents to train their children in a knowledge of the heritage of Israel was described by Rabbi Solomon Goldman, of Temple Ansche Emet, Chicago, as the most serious neglect of the Jewish people in the last hundred and fifty years. Rabbi Goldman spoke at the seventh annual Spring Breakfast of Ivriah, women’s division of the Jewish Education Association, at the Waldorf-Astoria. Proceeds of the affair go to the association’s scholarship fund and the kindergarten fund of the Ivriah.
Mrs. Rebecca Kohut, Miss Adele Bildersee and Mrs. Gabriel Hamburger spoke at the affair at which over a thousand were present.
