The Federal Communications Commission moved today to schedule a hearing, at a date to be set later, for the renewal of radio station licenses for G.A. Richards, who has been accused of promoting anti-Semitic broadcasts.
The stations involved include EMPC, Los Angeles; and WJR, Detroit; and WGAR, Cleveland. Richards is operating on a temporary basis pending the coming hearing which will determine whether or not he will be allowed to retain control of the stations.
