Ralph H. Korn, author of books for music-lovers and amateur musicians, received a gold medal last week for his latest book, “Building The Amateur Opera Company.” The award came to him from the Washington Heights Musical Club, of which Miss Jane R. Cathcart is president. Mr. Korn’s book has been endorsed by outstanding leaders in the world of music, including Gatti-Casazza, Walter Damrosch, Mme. Marcella Sembrich, Arthur Bodanzky, Fortune Gallo and many others. Mr. Korn is a member of Jordon Lodge, I. O. B. B.
