A warning that German might would be used against Jews in any country of Europe where they sought to increase their influence was voiced today in the Krakauer Zeitung, official Nazi organ in Cracow.
The newspaper, in an article on the “Jewish question,” said anti-Semitism was gaining ground in Europe and that even France, where it had been unknown since the famous Dreyfus case, was returning to anti-Semitism since its defeat. Countries under the control of Germany and Italy, the newspaper asserted, are evicting Jews from all positions and they will ” never again enjoy their former position in Europe. “
It the Jews manage to establish themselves in any country and seek to in-crease their influence there, ” the article said, “Germany will oppose them. The Jews know what German opposition means.”
The newspaper said that the Jews would have to find some solution to their problem in some overseas country, adding that “what they do there is of no importance to Germany because if it had importance the Reich was strong enough to destroy them.”
“But Germany is not worrying,” the article concluded, warning that if the Jews “raise a hand against Germany in the new Europe they will be repulsed.”
The Krakauer Zeitung, in an article about “Haifa, Singapore of the Eastern Mediterranean, ” points out the military importance of Jewish industry in Palestine and declares that the Arabs of the interior are not tranquil and will soon revolt.
