Representatives from the diplomatic “Quartet” seeking Israeli-Palestinian peace will meet in Egypt this week. William Burns, the top U.S. State Department envoy to the region, and his counterparts from the United Nations, the European Union and Russia will convene in Taba to discuss economic, political and security issues, State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said Monday.
