Roumanian Jewry in the United States will celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of their activities here, this coming January, according to Leo Wolfson, president of the United Roumanian Jews of America.
A twenty-fifth anniversary convention will be held in New York City, Mr. Wolfson stated. A committee was appointed to head the celebration with Dr. Julius Klepper as chairman and Herman Speier as secretary. The committee also includes David Abramowitz, Abraham Berger, Bruno Berk, Henry Eiser, Abraham Falick, Peter Ferester, Leon Fischer, Herman Fischer, Charles I. Fleck, Isidore Goldenberg, Abraham Hirsch and Louis Weiss.
At the same time it was announced that Louis Minsky had been commissioned to prepare a history of Roumanian Jewish activity in the United States during the past 25 years.
