The Hungarian press, quoting from the fiftieth anniversary number of the “American Hebrew,” shows the Hungarian people how greatly the contribution of American Jewry to the upbuilding of the United States is valued by American statesmen.

The “Pester Lloyd” shows that American Jewry has been able to contribute so much to the general welfare of the country because of the full freedom and equal treatment that it enjoys. Quoting also from the articles on the Hungarian-Jewish question in the “American Hebrew,” especially Minister Korni’s conclusions, the same paper says that if Hungary will treat Jews as they are being treated in America, it will also gain very much.
