Chairman J.W. Fulbright of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee today announced that his committee would hold public hearings on Thursday in connection with a Senate investigation of Jewish organizational activities promoting Israeli interests in the United States.
Sen. Fulbright, Arkansas Democrat, announced that the Committee invited press coverage to a hearing which would receive additional testimony from Isadore Hamlin, of New York. Testimony by Mr. Hamlin and Gottlieb Hammer, executive vice-chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel, Inc., taken in closed executive session on May 23, will be made public.
