Senator Holt Cites Palestine in Debate on Neutrality

The actions of the British in Palestine were again held up today as an example of perfidy, in the Senate neutrality debate. “The British, ” said Senator Rush Holt (Dem ,W.Va) “lied to the Jews, and then they lied to the Arabs. The Jews in Palestine were subjected to the same sort of indignities by the British as the Jews in Czechoslovakia by the Germans.”
