Seven young Nazi storm troopers have been sentenced to serve from three to six years at hard labor by a special Berlin court for the kidnapping of Otto Schlessinger, Jewish manufacturer of Chemnitz. The storm troopers were alleged to have attempted to extort money from the Jewish industrialist on political pretexts.
The official report declared that Herr Schlessinger had been mistreated during his captivity and that the Nazis fired on the police when the latter attempted to arrest them.
