Governor and Mrs. Herbert, H. Lehman are spending a week in Atlantic City.

At the Century Club dance last week-end Mr. and Mrs. Albert Erdmann entertained friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Hirsch have opened their home in Greenwich, Conn, Later in the season they plan to sail for Europe to visit their son, Charles Hirsch Jr., who recently returned to London.

Mrs. George Backer has gone to her home at Oyster Bay. Mrs. Backer’s brother, John Mortimer Schiff, and his wife, the former Miss Edith Backer, have returned from their wedding trip. They will sail for Europe shortly.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Forsch are planning to spend the summer in Europe.

Mr. and Mrs. Dudley D. Sicher are going to their camp at Lake Placid early in July.

Vivian Johnson’s rendezvous on the Jersey coast has become a popular Saturday night gathering place. The place is decorated to represent a ship and one may expect to see many of one’s friends leaning against the ship’s railing, sipping cool refreshments. Among those noted last week-end were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Auerbach, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Leeds, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Neuberger, Edward Rosner and Her old Rhodes.

At the Century Country Club last week-end were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Limburg, Mrs. Arthur Lehman and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Blum.

Mr. and Mrs. Moritz Rosenthal will spend the summer at their home in Riverdale.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Straus Schaefer have taken a home in Elberon, N.J.

Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Hale Homan have moved to their summer home in Elberon, N.J.

Seen at the Hollywood Golf Club on Decoration Day were Mr. and Mrs. Mortimer Hess, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mack, Mr. and Mrs. William Ehrich, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loucheim, Mr. and Mrs., Melville Lowenstein and Wilfred S. May.
