Some 500 persons attended a “People’s Seder” Saturday night shortly after the end of an anti-war demonstration held in connection with the trial of Rev. Philip Berrigan and his fellow defendants. The seder combined elements from a number of radical haggadahs. Daniel Ellsberg, who is under indictment for releasing copies of the Pentagon Papers to the press, sat at the main table. The seder was sponsored by the Radical Zionist Alliance, New York Chavurah and Brooklyn Bridge of New York; Chavurat Shalom, Concerned Jewish Students of Boston; Fabrengen of Washington; and the Radical Jewish Community of Philadelphia.
