A military court in the Tulkarem-Samaria district pronounced a 30-year sentence today on an Arab who was convicted of acting as a “supply officer” of El Fatah terrorist gangs active in the district. According to the evidence, the prisoner whose name was not given, brought food to terrorists holed up in caves. Under military law this is a capital offense. But the court exercised leniency because the prisoner gave evidence that led to the arrest and conviction of a large number of El Fatah members.
