Syrian troops on the northeastern border of Israel resumed their attacks on Israeli workers today with sporadic sniping at farmers in the fields near Dardara, on the eastern banks of Lake Huleh.
Though no one was hurt, the continuing fire finally caused the Israelis to halt their work and seek shelter. A police escort did not return the Syrian fire, despite the fact that their car was hit by bullets.
