Robert Szold, vice-president of the Zionist Organization of America, was the principal speaker at a meeting arranged as a memorial to Theodor Herzl under the auspices of the Brookline Zionist Organization.
Speakers at the meeting included Esther M. Andrews, of the Governor’s Council, who conveyed the greetings of Governor Joseph B. Ely; Myer J. Sawyer, Coleman Silbert, I. J. Lowe, Augustus Holzman, president of the Zionist organization of Brookline; Alexander Brin. Joseph S. Shubow presided.
Enroute to Boston, Mr. Szold stopped in Chatham, where he spent several hours with Justice Louis D. Brandeis. Mr. Szold said he found Justice Brandeis in excellent health and maintaining a keen interest in the upbuilding of the Jewish national homeland.
