The trial of the Zionist Revisionists accused of membership in the Brith Habiryonim cannot take place until the trial of the Revisionists accused of murdering Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff is ended, government officials declared today, pointing out that many of the documents essential to the prosecution are being used in the Arlosoroff case.
Aba Achimeier, who was acquitted of complicity in the murder of Dr. Arlosoroff, was rearrested by the police and charged with having been the leader of the Brith Habiryonim.
Achimeier immediately began a hunger strike because the police refused to free him on bail. After four days of fasting Achimeier ended his hunger strike, stating he did this out of deference to Rabbi A. I. HaCohen Kook, Chief Rabbi of Palestine, who urged him to break his fast since the Jewish religion forbade suicide and Achimeier was said to be in bad health.
