The American guided missile destroyer Mahan arrived at Haifa Wednesday morning on a four-day visit to allow its complement of 350 officers and men a period of rest following extensive exercises with the U.S. Sixth Fleet. The Mahan is the first American naval craft to visit an Israeli port in 13 years. Her crew are the guests of the Israeli navy which has arranged extensive sight-seeing and entertainment programs for them.
