The anti-Jewish excesses in Bessarabia were condemned at a huge mass meeting held in one of the largest halls in Moscow. The meeting was called under the joint auspices of the Bessarabian Society, the Jewish Club of Communists, and the Roumanian political refugees in Soviet Russia. J. Larin, M. Dimantstein, Esther Frumkin, Schmeral Kolaroff and Mr. Dombal, member of the Peasants’ International, were among the speakers who denounced the Roumanian government for persecutions against the national minorities.
A resolution protesting against the pogroms in Roumania and the Roumanian White Terror was adopted.
