The Middle East requires a comprehensive solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict, the U.S. general commanding operations in Iraq said. “I’ve rarely seen it so unsettled or so volatile,” Gen. John Abizaid, head of Central Command, said Thursday in Senate testimony.
