The Reconstructionist Rabbinical College is expected to select a president Sunday. Rabbi Dan Ehrenkrantz, the immediate past president of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association and the spiritual leader of B’nai Keshet in Montclair, N.J., has been nominated to lead the Reconstructionist movement’s seminary, pending board approval. If approved, Ehrenkrantz would replace Rabbi David Teutsch, who has been the institution’s president since 1993 and will step down this summer. Located in suburban Philadelphia, the college trains rabbis, cantors and Jewish educators.
