Reports reached here today of the arrest by the Japanese-controlled authorities in Tientsin of two Jewish leaders, Simon Genn, an exporter and president of the Tientsin Jewish Community, and Lev Piastunovich, a Zionist Revisionist leader. The Shanghai branch of B’nai B’rith, international Jewish fraternal order, is holding an emergency meeting to consider the arrests, which ape believed here the result of White Russian intrigue.
