The celebration of the tenth anniversary of the hearing granted by the peace conference at Versailles to the Zionist delegates, Dr. Chaim Weizmann, Nahum Sokolow and M. M. Ussishkin, will be marked in New York by a reception to Nahum Sokolow, chairman of the Zionist Executive, who is expected to arrive on Tuesday, February 26.
The reception, to be given by the Downtown United Palestine Appeal, will be given on Wednesday, February 27, at the Yiddish Art Theatre.
Mr. Sokolow will be the principal speaker. Jonah J. Goldstein, honorary president of the Downtown drive for the United Palestine Appeal, will preside.
Max Cohen, executive director of the recently established Adas Kodesch Community Center. Wilmington, Del., and principal of the Adas Kodesch Hebrew School, has resigned to accept the post of executive secretary of the Jewish National Fund with headquarters in New York City.
