Refusal to pay tribute to a Wahabi leader was the causus belli for a battle which ensued between the Transjordanian Bedouin tribe, Benne Sakhr. and a Wahabi tribe led by Faisal-Dowish. In the attack of the Wahabis on the Transjordanian tribe, 120 members of the Bene Sakhr tribe were killed. The Wahabi forces suffered a loss of 100.
