Twenty policemen were required to restore order when pandemonium broke out here at a lecture on the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.” the lecture had been arranged by the local “National Front” organization.
Shouting that the “Protocols” were a falsification, the audience demanded that the speaker leave the platform. The police, finding it extremely difficult to quiet the meeting, were finally compelled to use their clubs. The lecture continued after more than 150 listeners had withdrawn, only fifty remaining to the end.
