Two Israeli citizens have been arrested on charges of espionage on behalf of Egypt, it was announced today. Israeli police officials said one of the men returned recently from Europe, where he had made contact with Egyptians.
Upon his return, the man was placed under surveillance, and this led also to the arrest of the second man. The names of both were not revealed. One is 23, the other is 29, police said. They will both be tried soon, the announcement stated.
