Two Israeli security guards were lightly wounded by Palestinian gunfire on a group of workers next to the security fence near Tulkarm. In other incidents Wednesday, a bomb blew up near Kalkilya, close to where the security fence is being built. In the Gaza Strip, shots were fired overnight near the Israeli settlement of Neve Dekalim.
