United Nations sources disclosed today that Gen. William E. Riley, U.N. Palestine truce supervisor, was discussing with officers hero the advisability of adding a political officer to his truce staff.
So many political problems have arisen in the efforts to maintain the military armistices between Israel and her neighbors that Gen. Riley was said to feel that U.N. political expert would be of considerable assistance to him. Gen. Riley, who is expected to return to the Middle East next week, is also said to be discussing further additions to his truce observance staff.
