U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno attended the swearing-in ceremony for new members of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, the Washington museum’s governing body. Five of the 10 new members of the council attended the Tuesday evening ceremony. Those reappointed to the council include U.S. Middle East envoy Dennis Ross and Michael Berenbaum, president of the Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation.
